Sponsorship & Partners
As a non-profit organisation, Cape Craft School NPC holds Section 18A certification for all donations made locally in South Africa. In 2026, the school will graduate 50 students.
Routes to Support
Beyond Financial Sponsorship
We encourage sponsors to be involved in more than a monetary way. If you have skills that might benefit our students — legal, professional, accounting, production, intellectual property — you are welcome to present to our classes. Who better to learn from than the experts in your community?
Completing the Circle
We will graduate 50 students in 2026. Post-graduation pathways include small-business setups, student placements, and commissions — with Craft Centres running adjacent to schools as manufacturing hubs.
We extend our thanks to all the individuals who made donations. Your generosity has made a meaningful difference and continues to support our work.
Financial Partners
Our financial partners contribute in a variety of ways. Some provide bursaries at R90,000 a student. While most sponsors choose to donate privately, some institutions have generously donated financial support. Without the generosity of our partners, supporters, and sponsors, Craft School South Africa would still be just an idea. Justin van Breda and the Board are deeply grateful for their contributions and look forward to continuing this journey together.

Implementation & Development Partners
In-depth conversations with our supporters have been vital in refining our vision and connecting us with our student body. Many individuals and organisations have generously provided guidance, introductions to decision-makers, and access to foundations, enabling meaningful conversations and connections. We thank everyone who has answered calls, emails, or made recommendations — your support has been invaluable in helping us bring our vision to life.
In addition to financial donations, donations in kind support us with essential materials and equipment such as sewing machines, vouchers for school uniforms, desks and chairs, kitchen equipment and more. Their contributions directly enhance our students’ learning experience and ensure the school can operate effectively — with particular thanks to the City of Cape Town for their support and for activating access to their ecosystem.
